Parkside runs a variety of services from its dedicated premises located by Aldershot Park and within Farnborough Library. 

We organise and host a variety of programmed activities aimed at improving wellbeing and life skills for adults, young people and children with learning disabilities.

Young Adults Children’s Activities

As well as group sessions, we also offer one-to-one support for adults and children to enable them to access a wide range of social, educational and recreational activities.

A series of Drop-In Sessions are also available for adults with learning disabilities to attend with their support worker/care. 

Aldershot

Parkside Aldershot comprises a large main hall from which is runs most of its activities and a small garden. It is fully accessible with disabled toilets and wet room. 

Within Aldershot Park, just to rear of the centre is Café in the Park open to the public; restricted opening hours. 

Sensory Suite – Aldershot

The centre also boasts a newly refurbished Sensory Suite with a variety of equipment including:

  • Illuminated Ball Pool
  • Bubble and Hurricane Tubes
  • Thermostatically controlled Water Bed
  • Multi Sensory wall displays
  • Colour Control equipment Fibre Optics
  • Solar Projectors
  • Sound system
  • Therapy Chair
  • Wall and surround padding

The Sensory is available to book for children and adults with a disability. You do have to attend training first and there is a cost when booking a session. Telephone 01252 313103 for more information on training dates and meeting the criteria.

Farnborough Activity Base

Farnborough Library

Within Farnborough Library, Parkside has a dedicated activity room and runs the FAB Cafe, providing hot and cold beverages and snacks to customers of the Farnborough Library. 

The centre is fully accessible with disabled toilets.
