FAB Cafe Farnborough

Covid 19 FAB Cafe Update

The FAB Cafe will be re-opening Monday 12th October with reduced opening. The Cafe will be open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday 10 – 2pm each day. We will be offering a reduced menu, but the Cafe will still be delivering the work experience programme for our young people.

A work experience project offering training and experience of working in a busy café in the heart of the community. Trainees are offered a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 2 years depending on outcomes and needs. During that time they will also be offered additional short courses that relate to their work experience.

Located within Farnborough Library, we operate the vibrant and successful FAB Cafe serving refreshments, snacks and cakes in a setting which is a hub for the local community.

The cafe offers young people with a learning disability the opportunity to learn a variety of skills from food preparation, health and hygiene, customer service, cash handling.

Gardening in the Community

In need of regular garden maintenance at reasonable prices? Then look no further. Our keen gardeners are available for hire!

Eager to put their horticultural skills and experience to use, the gardening club is able to provide a regular gardening service including clearing leaves, weeding, mowing the lawn and planting.

Lead by the trained member of staff, the gardening service provides a great way for our members to engage with the local community and continue to develop their skills. 

Gardening Services are available on a Tuesday, appointments are met between 9.30am – 2pm.
